Hi

A friend of mine has a loan with blackhorse on which he has made some late payments but still pays each month.

However, he has now received lettesr from nationwide debt collection services limited asking for the payment in FULL (i.e. the full remaining loan plus charges) or legal action will be taken.

He isn't very good with letters etc, so has asked me to help him.

What should be my next steps?

Thanks

Hi and welcome

He needs proof as to why he should pay them, ignore their empty threats and send the 'prove it' letter.

The only person entitled to your Personal Finance details is a Judge not a DCA

Move all banking activity to another banking group if you have a dispute - your funds can be used to offset debts within the same group.

Be careful with Banking details (card/account numbers) as these can be used to take unauthorised payments.

If they are asking for the full amount then they have terminated the agreement, has he received any default notices or termination notices?

Who ever heard of someone getting a job at the Jobcentre? The unemployed are sent there as penance for their sins, not to help them find work!
