A quick whiz at this throws up some solicitors but not CAB or law centre; so I'm a bit confused as to its purpose for the unitiated.

My own postcode returned 2 CABs, a Christians Against Poverty, a money advice centre plus several solicitors. It may not be perfect, of course.

A city search does generate a sensible list of results; my post code did not.
