  • 1 month later...

i sent my lba last week and today i got back my first response from them, a letter from Colin Langdale offering me £610.00 of the £685.10 that I was claiming for. The letter stated that this was to avoid legal fees / hassles etc rather than admitting any liability. It looks like HSBC are running scared.. hmm think they know they've not got a leg to stand on!!!!

I was thinking of writing back demanding the £70 but to be honest i need the money to pay for the court fees etc on my other claims. So HSBC have been let off the hook this time... i've still got a mastercard account to look into so they're not going to get away with it scot free...

anyway thanks to all who administer / advise on this site. I'll be paying in my 5% once the money clears!

keep going people we're in the right and the banks know it!!!!!!

well done.

make sure you have another account set up when u fight them for the credit card as they will make a commercial decision to close your account. you can of course fight this but its best to have something lined up just incase!

well done again :D
