Hi all,

The company I work for recently took a client to court and won the case. However the judgement was issued in favour of the defendant by mistake. We quickly got the court to amend the judgement, but it has affected the companies credit report.

How can we get this wrong judgement removed from the companies credit report? Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Inform the reference agency that you will be taking legal action to recover all monies, contracts and goodwill lost due to the defamation published on and distributed by their company.

Should speed things along.

They might try and put the onus on you to prove it.

Tell them to sod off.

Our defamation laws are about the toughest in the world. Hence Hollywood stars etc coming here to sue people that have published stories globally.

I believe that people who have been forced to take out mortgages and loans at higher interest rates, due to defamatory, incorrect information held at credit reference agencies. Have successfully claimed against the offending credit agency for the extra costs incurred.
