Hi can anyone help/advise, I sent one DCA a CCA request with 1.00 PO they signed for it on the 7 January 2011 I have not heard back as yet, obviously too early but today I received a letter from a new DCA chasing the same debt, letter dated 7 January 2011.

I was awaiting the CCA from the 1st DCA or not, and will put it in to dispute if it doesn't arrive, but what do I do with the new DCA?

Advise would be appreciated.

Thanks

Send the 2nd DCA the 'bemused/passed on letter' http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...lection-agency

Every journey begins with a single step :):)

Please note: I have no qualifications in this area - my advice is learned from the wonderful members of this Forum. Thanks to you all for your help.

The only person entitled to your Personal Finance details is a Judge not a DCA

Move all banking activity to another banking group if you have a dispute - your funds can be used to offset debts within the same group.

Be careful with Banking details (card/account numbers) as these can be used to take unauthorised payments.

Hi,

I'm not sure if they are connected or not, hopefully someone will tell us :)

Using two DCAs is in direct breach of the OFT Debt Collection Guidelines, to which they should adhere.

See above and report them both to the OFT and to the Trading Standards closest to their office.

Regards.

Scott.
