Hi

 

Ive been claiming esa since july, I recently got the results of my medical and they awarded my 12 points so Im appealing and am currently gettign basic rate although im participating in the work scheme, I want to know if I win the appeal, do I get the extra work realted component backdated? if so to what date so they backdate it.

Yes, David if you win an appeal any component that you win will be backdated to the date the decision was made to stop ESA
