Hi all,

We're talking about £30.00 so not life threatening amount but it's more the principle!

Ordered a food delivery (or so I thought) from just-eat.co.uk which is the "middle-man" to the actual restaurant I wanted food from.

Ordered a few times this way so it was easy enough this time round...went through the process of payment etc

On the last screen, it normally takes UP TO 90 seconds to "communicate" with the restaurant... after 5 minutes, I closed the window - for two reasons, I thought 1. it had crashed out and 2. I noticed it was set for collection only and not delivery.

Now given I cannot popout to get the delivery as it's fairly far away, I rang the restaurant several times immediately but I just cannot get through. Phone just rings and rings.

I then tried the live chat on just-eat only to be told there are no operators.

I then finally tried to view my order only to be told the service is out of order.

Checked bank balance and I can see the difference between the current/main so I know payment has left.

Bit stumped - order should be ready in 10mins and it'll be sitting there - From what I can see, I've tried to cancel the order in any way I can so can I get Barclays to refund me?

Thanks

Nevermind finally found a number in the FAQ for just-eat to cancel an order and although I spent 12 mins on hold (which got me in the pickup window for the order)

It's been cancelled and payment refunded -
