i have just been made an offer after having gone through the whole court process, natwest returned their allocations questionair then the next day made an offer to me of half the amount i requested they pay me, what should i do?

Accept the offer, or see it through for the full amount?

They have been doing this in some cases, accept the offer as a partial settlements but note in your response that you will continue to persue them for the full amount. They will cave! They have done so far.

that is what every one has been telling me but my mum keeps saying i should accept it as if it does go to court and the court find this to be a fair offer i could end up paying their legal fee's so she has got me a bit worried!!

Ask your mum if she'll make up the difference if you take her advice :D

I filed court proceedings and am just waiting for the court date now, natwest have returned all their forms etc.. so not sure wether to keep waiting or accept their offer.

not sure my mum would go for making up the diff, as she put up the money for the court case in the first place :0)

You've come this far, so why back off now?

Your choice of course?

Quick question - if you accepted this offer - does it include your court fees to date?

OK,

So if you accept £1100, and you give your mum back the 200 odd quick for court costs, then you end up with just under £900.

If you push on with your your claim...

You get over £1900 back

Your mum gets her monery back

I know what I'd do!!! :D

Let us know what you decide

Good Luck,

Ned
