Hello to anyone who may be iterested.

I have been watching Martin Lewis capaign quite strongly about the unfair charges so havw dwcidwd to give it a shot. My partner and I currently have 2 bank accounts with Barclays, and albiet on the whole they are pretty good, the downside as rightly pointed has to be the charges. I requested statements for the past 6 years at the end of June and finallay have got a day of piece with no children our Mrs around to run though them all. The statament were with me promptly, and I am amazed in the ammount our total charges have been over the past 6 years accros the 2 accounts.

The breakdwon worked out as from our joint account £730 with estimated interest of £126.67 and from my personal account £540 and estimated iterest of £76.96this added up to over £1400 in charges and interest so I am very keen to hear their response. Could anyone let bme know of bad experiences, do they shut accounts and take away overdrafts. I have banked with Barclays for nearly 18 years and only starting to incur charges when we started a family. We cabn ill afford to have this sort of expenditure taken away from us as this is easily equivilent to 1 months living expenses so lets hope they realise what they are doing to poeple with these astonishing stories

Cheers

Dave
