I leased a new Citreon Relay in June 2010

When driving 2 weeks ago the engine started to overheat

I pulled into a garage waited and put water in

When I took the van to the nearest dealer they checked it over and said I am not covered by warranty as I drove it overheated

Does anyone know what I can do about this

Hi and welcome to CAG.

First off you have posted in the wrong section, you should ask the thread to be moved to the motoring section where you will get more advice. Click on the small black triangle at the bottom left of your post to get through to the site team.

As for your problem, we will need a bit more info. How far did you drive it before you managed to put water in and do you know the cause of the problem; coolant leak ect. And what is the current status of the van.

Please Note

The advice I offer will be based on the information given by the person needing it. All my advice is based on my experiences and knowledge gained in working in the motor and passenger transport industries in various capacities. Although my advice will always be sincere, it should be used as guidence only.

I would always urge to seek professional advice for clarification prior to taking any action.

Please click my reputation 'star' button at the bottom of my profile window on the left if you found my advice useful.
