Hi

Please can you help me.

I was travelling to London yesterday and I really needed to stop and pray. As I was short rushed for time, I parked on the Macdonalds car park. When I returned, I had a PCS Parking Charge.

They have said If I pay within 14 days, I will only have to pay £50.00, else it will double......

Please advice what is the best course of action - I would really appreciate your help.

Hi and welcome to CAG

As this is an invoice and not a fine, the general advice is to ignore it

What do I do if they write to me again?

Ignore again

What can they do?

Nothing

Can they increase it?

Yes but more on that in a bit

The INVOICE is for the driver. You are under no obligation to tell them who the driver was at the time.

They could increase the charge but how would they enforce it.

In the VERY unlikely event they took this to court, they would have to prove loss. Maccy D's car park is a free car park.

You will get ever increasingly desperate letters threatening all sorts then all of a sudden they stop.

Predictability knows no bounds
