I have taken a well known travel agents to court they have asked for judgement after they did not reply to the original summons they have asked the judgenment to be set to be set aside.

I have spent a total of £200 on the county court summons plus warrant

The case has been transfered to my local court.

What can i do before the case gets to court.

Thankyou

If a defendant fails to respond to a claim, the claimant can ask for judgement; this is known as a default judgement.

If this is what happened, you won, but the defendant has now asked to Court tp set the judgement aside. This means that the claim returns to the beginning.

You should have already done everything, because you brought the claim - submitted all the necessary papers with the claim and so on. The defendants will now submit a defence, and the Court will send you a copy. If there is to be a hearing you will be given details.

If you give us some more detail we can assist you better.
