hi. i have recently applied for a job with rbs/direct line. after passing the interview with flying colours, i got a call saying that i hadnt passed their credit check. they gave me the info of the debt, and said if i closed the account, they would still give me the job as they really wanted me. however, although the DCA has closed the account, it was only a partial settlement.

does anyone know if RBS will accpet this as the account is closed, or if they will rehect as it is a partial settlement?? would appreciated ANY help, as i desperatley want this job!!

thanks

Sorry - but they are the only people who can tell you this. It depends on their policy, and I'm afraid it's something that they have total control over. Best speak to them and explain that you have reached a full and final agreement, and that the account was closed on this basis.
