Basically, you text your full name to 66668 and then it replies back with allsorts of information about you (ie. Your partners name, your likes/dislikes, and much more). There are a million and one (guessed) explanations and the best one I have read (but probably miles from the mark), suggests that someone gets what info they can from Facebook. The ones that don't have a Facebook account will just get a message back full of guesswork.

I am not suggesting trying this yourselves because one person has said it costs £1.50 a go, although I can't find anybody else saying that (so it may or may not be true). My Mrs done it and she said it didn't charge her, but it may get added on her monthly bill and may not be part of her monthly free texts allowance.

I just Googled 66668 and found a dillion suggestions. Please give your own thoughts and I will pick the most feasible. Unfortunately you don't win anything. Just the accolade of being the brains of CAG (Britain).

If anybody does have a go, please let me know the outcome.

If all else fails, kick them where it hurts and SOD'EM;)

It's probably a DCAs latest trick into getting people's phone numbers!

"To love unconditionally is the greatest gift, laughter is a close second" .To give your time to help others after being helped here is the best way to show your appreciation to your fellow CAG members.

Hahaha :) How VERY cynical!

* note to self, do not use Bongo *

Cynical? Moi? Never :)

Personally I don't a **** who knows who I am, my numbers, address etc.

However, if they step out of line then they better be prepared to deal with one very determined b****!

Astonishing how much over three years on CAG can do to you isn't it :)
