Hi there,

I hope someone can help.

I took out car finance of in August 2009 over a 30 month period and in July this year I contacted the finance company asking if I could make reduced payments due to being unemployed, they agreed to this and reduced my payment to half of the original amount.

In Oct I received a default notice, rang them up to find out why and was told that they needed proof that i was unemployed. I sent proof twice, on both occassions they claimed not to have received it so I sent it a 3rd time by email and heard nothing until today.

I have a letter telling me that I am no longer in possession of the goods with their consent due to having not complied with the terms of the default notice.

Could anyone tell me where I stand with this? I gave them the info they asked for, the account manager said she would look at it and get back to me and now I am being told my car is to be repossessed!
