Hi all, this is my first post so please bare with me :!:

So, having read many posts would I be right in thinking that if you have been defaulted, there's little point in carrying on with regular payments towards this debt? I mean, the default is there and it's gonna be there for 6 years regardless of whether you pay it or not.....

Would it not better to pay the people that are chasing and have yet to put a default on, although in my experience they slap the default on once you agree a payment plan :mad2:

thanks in advance

more info required........

a default notice yes runs for 6yrs but there are many cases where a dn is infact invalid.

or if it is a default marker, because p'haps you missed or were late or it was under the required pcm, then it is just a marker.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
