i have recieved a letter saying i owe £300 for an old debt, i just cant remember how old it is and it might be statute barred,

How would i be able to find out, do i just call them or will that then bodge it up if its statute barred or nearly statute barred

Never Ever telephone these companies.

If you have no idea what the debt relates to, then just send them the "no knowledge of the debt" letter from the template library. See what comes back, if anything
