Ok, I'm going to attempt a stir fry for lunch with fresh egg noodles. I'm just wondering (if it turns out edible), can you freeze and then reheat what's left? I've tried to search to find out, many say you can reheat but nothing about freezing and then reheating leftovers. Does anyone on here know?

You can freeze and reheat stir frys as long as you reheat thouroughly....................only one downside............the whole point of a stir fry is that it is quick to cook and all the vegetables stay nice and crunchy. If you freeze and reheat a stir fry the vegetables loose their crispiness and it all ends up a bit soggy.

Thanks peeps. Much appreciated. I was a bit worried about the noodles. Haven't done a stir fry in a loooooong time! I may do it tomorrow as decided not to attempt it the other day.

Has any;one ever found a way of cooking plain chow mein so that it tastes just like it does when you get a takeaway. It didn't ought to be that difficult but I've never been able to do it.

Add 1 tablespoon of both oyster sauce and soy sauce - (you can get them in most large supermarkets)
