I have recently moved house and wrote to vodafone to a cancel my contract (the obligatory 12 months was up anyway) and to detail address changes for any formal notifications.

As such I didn't use my phone and heard nothing from them.

I then had a redirected bumch of mail full of threatening letters from Vodafone and FPC (?) threatening complete action and credit default.

I have paid this y credit through "payfred.com" in a panic as I have been unable to get through to anyone at vodafone willing to help me and I can't afford a default on my credit rating.

Is there anything I can do to claim this money back? £107.08 when I literally have not touched the phone AND ended the expired contract!

Thanks,

Kelly

Hi Kelly,

I'm sorry to hear about the problems which you've posted about here but I'm happy to investigate what's happened here further for you.

To allow me to access the account in question could you email the details across to me by following the information in the pinned thread which Martin has linked you to?

Once you've sent it you'll receive an automated reply with a reference number. So I can make sure it reaches us could you update the thread with this and I'll come back to you as soon as I can?

Kind regards,

I am still currently trying to sort this dispute as a default was infact placed upon my credit file which is now very difficult to remove even after being in contact with Vodafone director and Wescot. Any advice on the next route to follow would be very gratefully received.

Follow the advice from Lee above. He has dealt with issues such as this in the past and always pushes for a fair outcome.

If in doubt, contact a qualified insured legal professional (or my wife... she knows EVERYTHING)

Or send a cheque or postal order payable to Reclaim the Right Ltd.
