I don't know if anyone can help with this - I am trying to claim back from banks and credit agencies, but I lost lots of documents in floods! Is there any legal claim that I can make these banks / credit agencies release my account information to me? I see lots of different terms used in these threads but I don't know what they mean  Also, I have been contacted by a couple of companies willing to "help me" with my claim; are any better than others or are there any to avoid??

Thanks for taking the time to read this

Yes big gap. I cheated and went with a company for the first, then followed your templates for the others and used the protocol and jargon from the first to estimate my return.

Welcome: £4500 (2 separate returns)

Lloyds £1200

London Scottish: Awaiting decision.

Thanks for your help!
