Received a letter from Lowells Today. Ongoing dispute with JD Williams. Lowell have bought this account.

 

Part of the letter states " We have obtained a copy of your credit file from a Credit Reference Agency; the information within it will help us understand your financial situation and we will then be in a position to understand if, and what type of, court action to take".

 

Can they do this with out my permission? What is their plan by doing this? What can we do about them doing this if they have acted unlawfully/ illegally by doing it?

For a start there is nothing they've done wrong, as much as it pains me to say it.

 

Lowlifes are zero to worry about, they can barely write a sentence least of all change each others nappies.

The threat that they have put in their foolish letter is intimidation at best, so a formal complaint of this hilarious childish outfit MUST be sent to the OFT&TS via http://www.consumerdirect.gov.uk/contact

 

Then you need to focus your attention to the credit agencies, (CRA's) and take them to task as to why they have allowed a very disreputable company to pull your credit file without your knowledge or permission, enter their complaints procedure and exhaust it all the way up to the ICO who you should them report them to.

We all know that CRA's are really DCA's under cover, the DCA's pay the CRA's to abuse and add false incorrect adverse data on peoples files without their permission.

 

Lowlifes and court action in the same sentence, utter utter fools, someone has left the crayons out again!

Where's James? Haven't heard from the 'rep' for a while??? Hope he hasn't been hit by a falling block of yellow ice?

I had similar letter a while back from Lowlifes sidekick RED, saying the same thing

But nothing is showing on my credit file, so I think its all codswalap to make you feel they have some sort of power.

Cheers for that people! Great input! Will do as you suggest and keep everyone informed of progress!!!

 

Any more advice or comments from any one greatly appreciated. Especially if others are getting this sort of thing.
