HSBC wrote wanting more time to deal with my PPI complaint.

I responded with a letter giving them 14 days more or would I would take further action.

Received another fob off letter today i.e BBA, implications, will keep u informed of court case etc.:mad2::mad2::mad2:

I fully intend to carry out the court action.

The PPI was on a loan that has one last payment outstaning. I am Self employed

Any advice on the wording of the claim form ?

Help would be appreciated

Thanks

PPI claims have different criteria so you need to say why you think it was missold.

The POCS will have to suit that.

Thanks for the prompt response Martin.

I was unemployed when I took out the policy. The loan was to be used to set up a business on a self employed basis.

HSBC were well aware of my situation at the time.

Would this meet the mis sold criteria ?

pers i'd go to the FOS

if you have the agreement 9/10 they will tell the OC to cough.

and the FOS adjudicators decision is legally binding.

however, be aware that they are sadly right in what they are saying as such.

it will be stayed.

if it goes to the FOS and the adjudicator rules in your favour, they cant not pay.

thats what the FOS adj told me yesterday.

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

well if its been that long then why have you not already gone to the fos after 8 weeks of no joy?

if they are saying they are not processing ppi claims then there is little you can do other than the fos IMHO

not worth the bother, they'll just stall you longer.

the fos can make them cough

a court case from you might not.

if that £900 is inc the cash price int charged on the ppi

then divide it by 50

that will give you the PCM for the PPI

then just add 8% stat from the date EACH month it was paid to today.

using:

rests=12

360 days

or use one of the spreadsheets from the stickies
