Asides from sounding like the latest contralto (or some kind of name which gains 'operatic' heights) but I've now had a letter from them.

How seriously should I take their threats? I know they are Robinson Way, they don't even bother to hide that with the back of the envelope showing their postcode/address, paper/letter layout, but I established a while ago the agreement they've been writing about for ages, wasn't enforceable.

Now these operatic named looking people have shown up.

Send them the bemused letter, if the agreement isn't enforceable via court there is little they can do otherwise.

They are sometimes very evil so look out for the old 'ccj about to be served on last known address' threat.

Castrato, Cartaphilus. Thankfully not a singing style used much these days.

“The industry is rotten to the core, whether it is in-house recovery and collection, or where agents are used, or where the debt has been sold.” Andrew Mackinley MP, House of Commons, 22 April 2009

Yes, that one.

Pity we can't 'castrate' them, though. ;)

PS Horwich Farenelli ... ;)
