Hi all, I just thought I would jump in here and mention that although viruses are still a problem (I use the free AVAST antivirus) the main concern these days is malware which most antivirus programs will not clear up. I would recommend everyone to download and install CCleaner and Malwaresbytes, both are free and come very highly recommended by their users. CCleaner cleans all the junk out of the internet temp files, recycle bin ect and also it will clean up your registry as well with back up so you can reinstall if needed.

Malwarebytes checks your hard disks for and malware and spybots and removes them many people don’t realise that some of the toolbars they download are actually spyware.

You can get both these free programs from filehippo or computeractive plus many other sites if you run these programs once a week your computer should stay in good health

Cheers richard.

Peeps need to try Microsoft Security Essentials (also free) as well. I only have 2GB ram, but my system happily runs MSE and Avast simutaneously, and they don't even fight eachother. As for Malware Bytes and Ccleaner, I've been hyping them up since I was in nappies.8)

If all else fails, kick them where it hurts and SOD'EM;)
