Yes I walked into a depo of a Big company to Find CCTV in the works toilets:!:

Can they do this I did not ask if they had the cctv in the girls but thats a joke

So much so I told a manager I am taking 10 mins and popping out to use the rest room at a near by super market

or is this Big Brother going ott ?

CCTV should not be used in private areas at work unless in the most exceptional circumstances and in response to a known problem - even then, the employer would be very hard pressed to justify such an invasion of privacy.

Any advice given is done so on the assumption that recipients will also take professional advice where appropriate.

the manager said to staff members its his place he can do what he wants

some of us refuse to use the toilets in the place an go to other ones its a joke

with some one watching you on cctv

 

He is right - it is his place. But that doesn't mean he can do what he likes. What he is doing is unlawful. Report him. You can do so anonymously.

May also be worth notifying the local Council.
