hope someone can help. i wrote a letter to my credit card company asking for my ppi back. i recieved a letter stating that they would refund in full which i was made up about, but further down the letter it states that as i have an outstanding balance on the card the refund will go straight to the credit card. can they do this? i dont know where to go from now?

Stockton..Hi......First what is their interpretation of a refund in full?????????????????? Do not agree to accept until you are aware of how much it is and how much interest they have applied to the refund.........The credit card company are correct they can apply the full amount to the outstanding debt,look at it this way it will reduce your debt with them.................FS
