I know this topic has been well covered but just posting this in case the law has changed or moved on.

At LHR T1 the parking bays are small and my carrier is big. Therefore i selected a bay and parked over the white line it has to be admitted. However the adjoining bay contained some kind of storage unit protruding from the facing wall so was unlikely to be used, plus the car park was half empty.

I returned with clients an hour later to find a 'Parking Enforcerment Notice (PEN)' stuck to the windscreen.

I'm hoping the best thing to do (as always) is to ignore it. Advice would be most welcome.
