Hi Guys

Its been a while since I posted on here. I'm now default free after several years of no credit (except extortionate rate credit cards and car finance all of which I have paid on time). My querie is that I have not been on the electroll since 2003 when I check my credit file it shows this to be very poor. Also in november last year yorkshire did a search when i moved for an unpaid bill which I thought was my old land lords responsibilty I was in the wrong and paid it immediately the search will drop off next month as it will be 12 months old. I have applied for a loan for a new car it was declined but am also thinking of a mortgage. have I jumped the gun with applying for the car loan and will this scupper my chances of a mortgage.

Any one with any points of view would be greatly appreciated.
