Here's something you don't see that much.:-

This started when driver/motorcyclists found the motorcycle category removed after submitting a license for change of address, age renewal or similar. When the error was pointed out, DVLA refused to accept this unless they produced their certificate of passing test (even though handed over when a full license was applied for, often 50+ years ago) or go and resit a test. They even refused to acknowledge photocopies of the old License as proof. "We don't accept photocopies".

 

Then some started demanding the return of the old license so they could point out DVLA's error. This was refused.

 

This is the outcome for the future, if the staff ever get to know or abide by it - and what happened to the poor unfortunates who suffered the original DVLA cock up is unclear.
