Hi back on the 4th of October i was suspended from work following a number of alleged irregular transactions ,i was told it would be for 7days .

couple of days later i received a letter from work saying that they expect my suspension to be until 18th now.

i have a week holiday booked at the end of the month and have been told that if i am allowed back to work,i would lose this holiday !

can they do this ,change the length of suspension like this and try and stop me from taking the holiday ?

thanks guys

The length of a suspension can be changed - it can even be indefinite and actually, that is more common. But you cannot loose your holiday. All terms and conditions of employment remain intact, and if the holiday is booked and approved then they cannot change their minds based purely on the fact that you are suspended.
