Hey!

 

Here's the story.... About 2 weeks ago a bailiff visited my mothers house and demanded £315 in regards to a fine i failed to pay years ago. I dont dispute the fine as it was issued lawfully for a silly prank i was involved in whilst at University as a fresher, i know i know lol.... It started off as an £80 fine and has gone up due to this visit. Anyway i rung the above people and offered to pay in instalments as im a student who doesnt have £315 to my name, i offered £10 per week which i thought was reasonable seeing as my budget truthfully only allows this amount at a stretch, i was told i had to pay £25 per week minimum which i just dont have, the people were quite threatining and said they would send another guy around my house and the balance would go up and up, i was polite and tried in earnest to resolve this issue only to be told 'it's £25 a week or nothing', i simply cannot afford that. What can i do? Has anybody had dealing with these 'people' before? And before you ask i dont spend any money on going out as im a masters student, i simply cannot afford what they are demanding,the last thing i want is for them to give my mother stress, she works hard enough for what shes got without all this. Someone got some good advice?

I am just letting you know that as you haven't had any replies to your post yet, it might be better if you post your message again in an appropriate sub-forum. You will get lots of help there.

 

Also take some time to read around the forum and get used to the layout. It is a big forum and takes a lot of getting used to.

 

 

Once you start to find your way, you will soon realise that it is fairly easy to get round and to get the help you need.

 

It can be bit confusing at first.
