I recently got a ticket for parking in a restricted street. I parked there at around 18:45 and got the ticket at around 19:30. The signs on the street says parking between 07:00 am to 18:30 (Pay and park). When I parked it was a bit dark and so I didn't notice the sign "above" the Display plate. This sign shows no parking between 18:30 to 07:30. This sign has a darkbackground and is difficult to read in less light. So I missed this information.Since the information which was displayed "correctly" meant --> I can park legally, I went ahaed and parked it. When I came back I saw this ticket and then I saw notice. The display sign is as attached. Also the ticket says my car is Silver in colour. But my car is Blue and can be verified by the DVLA website. So you can see, how dark it was, as the officer didn't notice the difference in the color. Also the display sign was not correctly displayed.Do I stand a chance if I appeal? Thanks..

Where is this? Also can you scan and post links (don't use the attachment, but use something like photobucket or tinypic as it shrinks them too much), removing things like your address, registration) of the PCN and any daylight photos of the area. Not seeing the sign above isn't really a defence - and by your photo, it is difficult to see - but there may be some other non-compliance.
