Bet your ammo bag is getting full now BB, it beggars belief that these CRA's are allowed to ride roughshod and ignore any iota of decency regarding peoples personal data, they would be top of my list to put in front of the judge, how far have you gone with their complaints procedure?

Who ever heard of someone getting a job at the Jobcentre? The unemployed are sent there as penance for their sins, not to help them find work!

Update:

Lowell have settled ammicably with an undisclosed amount and alovely bouquet and minimal fuss and stress. I am impressed with their complaints team resolutions leader who has acted quickly in this matter and 'encouraged' Experian and freemans.com to contact me as well. Experian have removed the last trace fom Lowell but I still have another issue with them.

I'm hoping he can get freemans.com to contact me, send me a decent apology etc. as it was their inital error.

I have Moorcr@p and Aktiv Kr@pitol to deal with on this one as well :!:

My advice when dealing with Lowell for anyone would be to escalate the complaint if the ordinary complaints staff don't satisfy.

Sorry for not updating this recently as it's been on hold but not forgotten. Not been well enough to deal with the stress of it plus very ill grandmother but have a bit of time now and my head appears to be functioniong some shape lol...

The state of play:

Lowells have played fair either by sheer luck or judgement so that's five issues resolved-ish.

Freemans.com are still being very rigid and still refuse to disclose Moorcr@p and Aktiv Kr@pital's involvement in this making three oustanding issues with freemans.com (for which there will be special treatment of because this all results from their initial errors and passing it to three DCAs!) = 5 outstanding.

Experian - 2 outstanding.

Callcredit - 1 outstanding.

HBOS - 1 outstanding.

Getting grief from the SLC as well. Should have kept my gob shut when I moaned about no DCAs to sort out lol...

Happy days...

Wow. What a roller coaster. Well done you.

Your thread made me laugh out loud. You're an inspiration.

Hope your health is better.

Lewte xx

Health is as good as it's going to get which is quite a relief seeing as I should be dead about five times over. This news was allegedly taken very badly by certain DCAs :)

CAG with it's wonderful community spirit has played a huge part in shaping my knowledge and 'inspiration'. It is my very great pleasure to give all I can back including my weird and 'wonderful' sense of humour, which, in the face of adversity, a smile, giggle and the realisation that there are people there for you is an enormous achievement of the whole of CAG :whoo:

Email ping pong has begun with freemans. I requested the email address of thier CEO and they replied with thier geographic address which I already have. Replied to them reiterating my request...

Another identical email recieved today :!:

This is my reply:

Dear Ms XXXXXXX,

I do not wish to incure any further costs regarding my very serious complaint which involves breaching OFT guidlines, the CPUTR 2008, the UCPD 2005/29/EC and, but not limited to, your company's own trade code of practice.

Copies of your company's letters to me will be forwarded to Companies House in Cardiff because there is no address and no registered company details which, if you consult your legal department, you will find that this is also in breach of regulations.

I reiterate my request for email details to be supplied for communication purposes with regard to my complaint and a written copy of your formal complaints procedure which was originally requested in January.

Might I also draw your attention to the fact that Lowell, who were instructed on your behalf, have appologised to me and made a decent good will gesture even though they were acting on your company's instruction. Lowell have also requested that any adverse data on my credit reference files be removed and that they have asked your company to contact me directly, the last time being in May of this year.

I understand from telephone contact that the alleged account was also passed to Moorcroft and Aktiv Kapital before it was pased to Lowell. Please supply details of thier involvement as I have never recieved any communication from either company regarding this matter.

I look forward to your swift reply.

Regards,

BB

Unfortunately, ill health and other very serious issues took me out of the 'game'... One such matter was a member of CAG joining a group set up, run and admin'd by me with a very simple idea, a 'back door' if you like re: IDS and Welfare reforms... The CAG member accused me of horrible things and that put the proverbial cat in the mix... The CAG member has mysteriously disappeared but continues to bad mouth me all over even questioning my qualifications, career and almost wrecking my very hard fought for reputation... No matter...

Leeds have reared their ugly head again and are bombarding me with letters and calls... I will start a new thread so as not to confuse issues...
