I indulged in some internet shopping this evening using my Lloyds Account. After trying to process my order my card was declined at checkout due to security.... I set up the clicksafe security feature that Lloyds use for online banking and started again. I tried three times and each time i received an error message telling me the payment had failed......... I gave up then checked my order history on clicksafe..... 3 equal payments to River Island. I phoned my bank to confirm whether the payments had come out or not and they had. I have received no confirmation of the order from River Island whatsoever....... I understand I'm able to return the items in store to get my refund which is fine but I'm now worried about whether or not I'll actually receive the items seeing as I have no confirmation....

Has this happened to any one before? If so could you shed some light on my sticky situation.

Cheers guys!

It sounds to me like the transaction failed, from River Islands point of view, but worked from your banks point of view - so the interface failed.

I think you will need to contact River Island, explain what has happened, and ask them to refund all three payments.

As he said.

From personal experience, River Island's online purchasing system is nothing short of terrible, so this doesnt surprise me.
