Hi,

I'm having problems finding a solicitors in my area who will give advice on debt/credit agreements. They seem to specialise in divorce. I did find one but they now can't fit me in.

I don't want to start a claim and I'm not defending a claim, just want to understand more my legal position.

If you know any solicitors - doesn't matter where in the country - or you are one, could you please send me contact details so I can make an appointment.

Thanks

Hi, thanks for the reply.

It's too complicated to explain on a thread, and although I do respect this site I do think I need professional advice from an expert. You can't beat sitting face to face with someone even just for 30 mins. I don't want to sound rude to anyone - I've learnt a heck of lot from reading threads on here and I'm very grateful, but I'm at a key point after 10 years with this debt so I don't want to take chances. Again though, thanks.

Hi, I should have said before that I did post some of my problems on a different thread a couple of days ago. So I have tried to get some feedback on the problem, but this was just a part of it. I will try the law centre as there seems to be one nearby. Thanks for that.
