Yes it should be. But will Lowell get the paperwork from Vodafone to ever take this to court. That is your gamble.

If the debt is from 2005, it will become statute barred sometime next year (this year if you live in Scotland). This is provided you have not paid anything towards the debt or admitted to owing the debt since 2005.

Suggest that you send them a prove it letter, asking for them to provide evidence.

We could do with some help from you.

Hi clio2010,

Thanks for returning to the thread.

Although I don't recall coming across your email could you either update thread with the reference number which you would've initially received when our automated reply arrived in your inbox?

Failing this could you PM the email address from which you send it and I'll get this followed up from there?

Best wishes,

If you pass on the details requested by Lee (the automated reference number or your email address) he'll get on the case.

Vodafone are correct, you have no Customer Credit Agreement as that governs "the sale of money", but I'm sure Lee can still assist

If in doubt, contact a qualified insured legal professional (or my wife... she knows EVERYTHING)

Or send a cheque or postal order payable to Reclaim the Right Ltd.

Further to locutus's reply could you let me know in reply to my earlier email if you're querying any of the charges I provided details of?

clio2010, if you need a copy of the agreement, you will have to pay £10 to vodafone for a SAR. If you want a breakdown of what costs are on the account, I'd contact the webteam AND update this thread with the reference number in the subject line of your automated reply (As lee requested in the 6th post of this thread:p)

Lowells have responded saying they would accept 350 as f and f but there doesnt seem to be a copy of an agreement and i do not believe the bill should be this much.

Hi clio2010,

Thanks for updating the thread.

I am currently looking into the billing side of things and will come back to you as soon as I can.

To assist me further could you reply to my last email stating why you feel your account balance should be lower than that the amount being asked for?

Kind regards,
