Hi All,

I am currently in the consultation period for TUPE (until 30 Nov). My current boss has left leaving me in charge of the I.T. for the company. Can my current employer change my job description and increase pay whilst I'm in this consultation period?

Thanks for any advice.

Baz.

They can, but they do not have to. Until the TUPE takes place you are employed by your current employer and they can do anything they could do at any other time. However, the agreement with the other company may include conditions around not making workforce changes.
