Hi Guys,

I have been issued with two PCN's from Glasgow City Council. One from 9.10am for parking in an area where loading and unloading is prohibited. I then got another ticket at 11.04am for parking without displaying a valid pay and display.

There is pay and display and no loading between hours where I was parked.

Parked my car outside my work at 5am and meant to move it before parking regulations started but completely forgot!

I was just wondering if it is legal to issue two tickets on the same day for the same spot?

Surely if this was the case then everyone would be getting two tickets - if they were as stupid as me!

Thanks

Ross

If the car was parked there and not moved between the two PCNs, then no they cannot issue two. You should contact them about the second one and ask that they review their evidence and void it, as it should not have been issued.

If you moved the car in between, they will probably know this - and the two will both be enforceable.
