Hi peeps,

Hope you're all okay. We didn't pay the 'invoice' from County Parking in May 2009, received when parking in our local hospital. HOwever, today, I have received two identical letters from Philips demanding £150.

Normally I would just ignore, but feeling down in the dumps today and need some reassurance.

Should I continue to ignore? Can't believe it's been almost 18 months and they're still chasing it!

Any advice, as always, gratefully received.

Me too. I can't phone anyone because they don't have any offices - just answerphones and box numbers. Real lowdown [problematic]!

If bailiffs are involved, then it means that the situation is very serious.

Pay immediately.

No, bailiffs won't be involved because there has been no County Court Claim and thus bailiffs cannot be involved. Only the silly DCAs that the PPCs try and scare people with.

OP - Same advise, don't pay!

Better advice would be to IGNORE IMMEDIATELY then ignore some more for good measure ,

take no notice of the PPC Troll

PPCs - Don`t pay their begging letters, don`t fall for the $ cam................. IGNORE PPC invoices

Hi genuine peeps,

Just got my internet connection running again... thanks for your support.

Thank to my knowledge (gleaned entirely from CAG - and donations I have sent to support this website), I do actually know my rights.

So go and do your scaring somewhere else....

Bailiffs? Where?

No court case = No bailiffs

Court case = PPC loses

Either way = Innocent Victim wins. :)

Hi peeps,

Just to keep you informed.... received another 2 letters from Philips :!:

The first one came end of September saying failure to payment will result in them sending my case to their Enforcement Dept for further recovery..... ignored

:jaw:

The second letter came last week saying their Recovery Agents have been granted approval to commence recovery procedures without any further warning :!:

Quite like the purple colour they use on the tops of their letterheads.... wonder if B&Q can make up the paint in that colour for my bathroom.... yes very Christmassy I think, reminds me of mulled wine:lol:

Having fun with the icons this evening...

One of the funniest lines I have read on these forums for a long time, thank you Phillips.

I have just had a read of your previous posts and in ALL of them you state that the person should pay up!!!

Either you have "deep pockets" or are somehow connected to the "private parking" industry !!!!

NO...surely not........

now up to the same level, had my second and third however they are identical. states they are now giving no further notice to start requesting payment, so they are now not going to warn me they are going to start asking me for money?

No you can apply to have the case tranfereed, but it will not get to that, this is just another threat to scare you into paying their $ camvoice, some PPCs have even been known to post out pretend summonses (not stamped by the court ) in order to panic the less stout hearted mugs !

Hi all,

Hope everyone is keeping well under these horrendous petrol conditions grrrr!

Anyway, just thought I'd update you. This morning received a letter from CPEA saying we had ignore the letters from Philips and they are now preparing for County Court action. I will be advised of a court date in due course. Jamuk1987 seems you had this not so long ago!

I will keep you all posted.
