I am naughty, if I knew for a fact that I had never had the account that they were trying to claim on, I would play them at their own game. Threat-o-grams, telephone calls, stupid charges etc..............not to mention the "for training and security purposes calls may be monitored" message at the start of a call!

I don't blame you. They obviously have traced your name through 192.com and not bothered to see if there is a Vanquis card on your credit report. Might be an idea to check your CR incase there is a card on there. You might have had your identity nicked!

I was disapointed the other day - got a letter from Muck Hall acting for Aktiv Kapital concerning a 12 year debt.

 

Phoned Muck Hall expecting a bit of a set to and all i got was ok we will send back to Aktiv. So I e.mailed Aktiv with statute barred letter and they replied within the hour saying sorry they would not be chasing me for debt anymore.

 

Have some of them gone soft or is it just easy targets they are after?

Might be worth sending them a simple recorded letter just saying that you don't recall having had anything to do with Vanquis and to ask if they could furnish you with more information. If Lowells were then stupid enough to continue with this, this would play into your hands more. The chances are that Lowell will ignore the letter !!!

I have been full circle with these over the last 18 months, they have ignored all my responses so the last time they wrote to me (read threatened me) I simply referred them to my previous letters, which I advised them they had 'wilfully ignored,' and stated that I would not be communicating with them again.

 

This morning I had a letter advising me they were 'investigating my complaint' - they did that a year ago and concluded they were spotless - I will not be responding to them again, what's the betting I will be subject to a 'commercial decision' before much longer?

LOWLIFE WERE QUICK OFF THE MARK AFTER I PHONED THEM

 

(new members, dont do what ime doing as i like , i like baiting dca)

 

I REQUESTED THE USUAL,ASSIGNMENT, AGREEMENT, ETC ETC,

 

AS USUAL THEY SAID I HAD TO CONTACT VANQUISH SO I REMINDED THEM AS THEY ARE NOW THE CREDITOR, THEY HAVE TO SUPPLY THE DATA.

 

NOW I KNOW LOWLIFE ARE SENDING OUT THERE OWN NOTICE OF ASSIGNMENT ON THE CREDITORS HEADED PAPER, CLAIMING IT CAME FROM THE ORIGINAL CREDITOR

 

 

HAVE A NOSE AS THE LETTER IVE POSTED LOOKS LEGIT FROM VANQUISH , BUT

 

LOOK WHERE IT STATES

 

ACCOUNT NUMBER

 

ACCOUNT TYPE

 

NEW REERENCE NUMBER (THAT BEING LOWLIFE)

 

NOW IF THIS ACCOUNT HAS BEEN SOLD BY VANQUISH AND TERMINATED,

 

WHY WOULD VANQUISH BE PUTTING ON A LOWELLS REF NUMBER ??
