Hello,

I have received an offer via Triton for a RBS account, could anyone tell me if it would protect me in court from any further attempts to collect on the account.

Many thanks

Hi Cerb,

If we settled would the letter cover me and prevent them from being able to pursue or collect?

I would also get a letter from them once you have settled confirming the funds were received and accepted as F&F.

If paying by cheque I would be inclined to write on the reverse something along the lines of;

By cashing this cheque it is accepted as a full & final settlement of a/c no.
& also include it in the covering letter.
