fell into difficulty with a sub prime mortgage with a rate set at 5.75 above base, fees all loaded in to the total charge for credit BUT not regulated as above 25K, same old story. this will cost four times what I borrowed, is this normal??? notwithstanding the additional interest being loaded onto arrears fees. by now you will realise it is the usual suspect - GE. I understand they were recently fined by FSA for treating their customers 'unfairly' - does anyone know of this and have a link. Repo threatened.
