Hello everyone!

New member here, this and other forum have helped me (without registering until now) to overcome my debt problems and then finally in August 2010 all my partially settled accounts left my credit report. (thanks to help forums) yay!

Well I suddenly have been searched on Experian and I now have a one month account with MCO Capital Ltd that seems to trade under helploans and balanceloans. It seem I am to expect shortly a demand for £513 (for a £300 28 day loan!) Now I have not nor would I apply for a payday loan, and a quick search of the internet seems to tell me they have been targeted. It also appears that they do not confirm the bank account as clearly the money diodn't arrive in mine. Also I cannot seem to find their Consumer Credit License number?

I have contacted Experian and advised them of my concerns, but I am not happy contacting helploans, balanceloans nor MCO Capital LTD, as something just does not smell right about the information on web about them nor do the websites look right for instance here is a bit of wording form the FAQ's

BE SURE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PAY BACK THE LOAN. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL MAKE GETTING CREDIT HARDER IN THE FUTURE. IT IS NOT WORTH THE RISK.

Sound advice I am sure but it really doesn't seem very professional!

Anyway what should I do next, as offcially they have not contacted me yet with anydemand for payment?

Hi, it would be best to contact them if you are certain that you have never had a payday loan from this company to check that no one has committed fraud in your name. You can also insist that they remove this information from your credit file as it is an error. I can not see any other way around this without having contact with them. Maybe you could do this via email so that you have a record of conversation.
