Came across this earlier.

We can live in hope, but can we also see more DCAs being fined not just companies selling things? After all, it's a long time in coming ... for many ... But also they are the ones who abuse the phone system the most by harassing people. Silent calls, of course, just the tip of the iceberg.

Am I ok to remain silent when they phone me ?

These calls may be from automated call dialers, but I do sometimes wonder, if there is a operator at the other end, deciding whether to speak or not. If you sound vulnerable or elderly, I wonder whether the caller would remain silent !

We could do with some help from you.

Yeah, but it's 'okay' because you are in debt so they can harass you, scare you to death, do worse. I despair with the world, I really do. Or I am just a very naive person thinking people should be better protected. :(
