Hi all,

 

Been a while since I was properly active on these forums - will be getting my head back into it, now the summer's over and done with and the students will be back in soon

 

Anyway, as per my original thread, I only claimed for the previous 4 years. So I have another 2 years to work on.

 

Data Protection Act Subject Access Request letter has just been printed, and will be in the post to Lloyds tomorrow

Nice one. Address it to Martin Orton, he's about the most arrogant member of Lloyds customer care staff I think.

 

Wonder if they actually take it to the CC claim stage this time - you'd have thought they'd know better second time round, but I doubt it. Still, if it does get that far you'll have the pleasure of dealing with SC&M this time.

Ah well, ambitious thinking on the letter. Still nada from my SAR, and Royal Mail still showing the letter as undelivered. Just going to email Ms Penny Berryman at Lloyd's Data Protection Department and 'see' if they have received it, and going to phone Royal Mail on Monday and get them to look into it. If, as I suspect, it's one of those 'indescipherable signature' jobs, I'll get them to mail me a copy.

I was going to ask the same thing. We sent a couple of SAR recorded but, like with you Reload, they're showing up as not being delivered yet - even though it was last week they were sent.

Mmmm.

 

If SARs to Lloyds are "going missing", maybe it would be better for people to hand-deliver them to the manager of a nearby Lloyds branch, and obtain a receipt for the letter and £10.

One of them was a Letter Before Action for non-compliance sent on 22nd September. Mindzai had sent a SAR for his credit card and received about 5 photocopies of completely blank statements. The other was a SAR for Mindzai's sole account and joint account requesting t&cs, original contract and all recordings of telephone conversations - sent on 21st September. The other letters that were sent at the same time were all received and delivery was confirmed on the Royal Mail's site. I've read elsewhere that the postman doesn't always get the businesses to sign for the letters and they don't necessarily record the delivery until later either - I don't know if this is right.

 

Thanks for the email address. I'm sure Mindzai will try to email Penny Berryman to see if she did receive those two letters.

I'll call Royal Mail tomorrow and try to get the lowdown on what the score is with that address. Certainly seems to be some funny business going on.

Oh, just noticed on that Email address - the forum software seems to automatically parse an extra space in between Lloyds and TSB. "penny.berryman@Lloyds TSB.co.uk" without the quotes should do it
