Hello! Yes, should have been more specific...went to barclays to obtain a loan to buy a business. Was dealt with by the business loan manager and after 5 weeks and paying a nonreturnable deposit of 12k, the business manager told me my loan had fallen thru....after reassurances all was fine! I went into massive panic mode, he introduced me to select finance, who in turn, obtained a loan from commercial first....this all done in days and i had never heard of these people b4. Turns out though that my residebtial address is what they class as the business generating the income to pay the loan!! I have sold the business....huge loss...80k...and the business is a mile away from my residence!! After selling the business i am unemployed, cannot get help with the loan, threats of repossesion, my income on the forms were extremely inflated and i was not aware of this. I have paid to get my files out from select and c/f, and this is how i have discovered these details. The business loan manager (barclays) has left under a bad cloud, he received commision from c/f but barclays are denying i saw this guy!! I relied heavily on barclays advice as this was my first venture. There's more to it than this, but hope you understand what i have written...thanx.

Hi

Welcome to The Consumer Action Group.

I am just letting you know that as you haven't had any replies to your post yet, it might be better if you post your message again in an appropriate sub-forum. You will get lots of help there.

Also take some time to read around the forum and get used to the layout. It is a big forum and takes a lot of getting used to.

Once you start to find your way, you will soon realise that it is fairly easy to get round and to get the help you need.

It can be bit confusing at first.

Please be advised that my time will be limited for the next few weeks. Thanks for your understanding.
