bailiff Andrew James Enforcement CTAX debt at my door a few weeks ago

hi all have had another develipmont here had a phone call off my dad this morning he told me bettrer get down his house there is a letter there for me goes down and its a letter off the council saying how much i owe and what prossedings have taken place on me.......have never told my dad about all this as i have not lived with him for over 10 years and i am a grown woman and dont see the need for my father to know the ins and outs of all my problems was just wondering why the council have sent this letter to my dads address and not my own which they have......this has really upset me now as my father opened the letter and read it all he is now not talking to me as he does not agree with having debt...anyway am just wondering if anyone knows weather this means that the debt has now been passed back to the council and is no longer with the baillifs it also looks like all bailiff charges have been taken off as there is a few hundres pounds missing off the final amount................

I very much doubt the council would recall this debt by themselves, unless you have taken some action that we do not know about.

omg just worked out the charges from the bailiffs its £580 minus what has already been paid robbing gits that could have been a nice little holiday for me.................nolonger embaressed am now totaly pi***********d

It may well be the bailiffs have passed it back. I would call the council and demand why they had sent this to your father and not to you. have they set up a payment plan with you.

No need to be embarassed anyway! Lots of us either are or have been in the same situation. As you know I had the same lot of bailiffs on my back for two years. Seanamarts could be correct, but knowing these bailiffs as well as I do, and living in the same council area, I think it is very very unlikely.

The council were wrong to send the letter to your dad's address, however, your dad actually committed the offence by opening your mail, so be careful what line you take with RCT and pursue the sent to my dad's address when you have mine.

so long as the Bailiff's have NOT ENTERED YOUR PROPERTY and levied anything you can tell them to Foxtrot Oscar.

 

YOU NEVER HAVE TO DEAL WITH BAILIFF'S FOR COUNCIL TAX PROBLEMS EVER EVER provided THIS SIMPLE RULE IS FOLLOWED -- NEVER LET THE DIRTBAGS INTO YOUR HOME.

 

They CANNOT force entry and you don't even have to speak to them.

 

Eventually the Council will takes the debt back --never mind what their phone monkeys say on their Call Centre answering scripts.

well phoned the council today the debt has not been sent back they said sorry for sending to 6the wrong address but its the last forwarding address they had for me (have lived in 4 other propertys since this one) they said they cant do anything for me so im just going to keep paying online and ignoring the bailiffs told them the charges they have put on are outrageus and was not happy she said the longer i leave it the more charges they will put on the ba**^%*^%*^*$*

I told you they wouldn't have taken it back - I know them of old! What they said about the bailiffs is also true, the longer it continues the more the bailiffs will legitimately run up fees. We need to analyse what they've charged so far, see what is and is not legal, then get it returned to the council. Keep paying your online weekly amount - that's good!
