presumably I don't need to do a CCA as this seems to request that piece of info? Or am I missing something?

Hi,

If your intention is to see if they have a valid agreement then a CCA is also required. The SAR is just a request for information and you can't put the account into dispute on the back of the request.

If you are trying to reclaim charges then once you put the claim in, that puts the account into dispute

Excuse my ignorance but can i use the same SAR template for different banks and can i still request this info with the intention of claiming back charges or have they stopped paying back charges now?

Also another question, the postal order that you have to send, do i leave it blank as when i tried to do yhis before the lady in the PO said i need to make it out to someone which confused me a little as was not sure who i am supposed to write to.

Thanks for your guidance in advance

Bank charges are virtually impossible (it all depends on the narrowest of situations)

Credit card and loan charges are still reclaimable.

You can use the same template for each bank but you will have to adapt each one to its particular circumstances.

As for the post office. You don't need to give them a name, just ask for a blank PO and you will fill in the details
