last year the company decided to change our shift pattern from 3 on 2 off 2 and 3 off 2 on continentals avarageing around 42 hours per week they put us onto 4 on 4 off this lasts 6 or 7 weeks then we have 17 days off and return for a training day on the 18th day then 4 off 4 on again t6his averages around 36-38 hours per week they have now decided after working these shifts for a year that because of the difference in hours we owe them a overtime shift per month as some of the plant still work the continentals and we are all on the same salery is can they do this as they changed our shifts in the first place. we can no longer take holidays when we want we have to stick to the pattern and we no dont get any extra holidays for working bank holidays etc.
