We thought you had done it and done a runner postggj:p.

Seriously though, welcome back anyway. The new layout takes some getting used to but once you get used to it, most people are finding it better. If you want smilies, you have to click on Go Advanved. Most other things are at the top right under settings etc.

If all else fails, kick them where it hurts and SOD'EM;)

Can I ask please what has happened this week? Having upgraded my browser to IE7 I was at least getting the date/time on posts that was missing on IE6, and generally getting used to the layout.

Then after trying earlier this week and getting an "upgrading come back later" message, when I did I find another major change. A "Consumer Forums Menu" box occupying the top right of the posts area. This has resulted in the actual estate for posts being about half the screen width (1024 x 768 resolution). By the time you take off the poster details on the left the actual words of a post have about a quarter of the screen to live in.

See the screen shot below:

If you look carefully at the screendump I posted you will see that the chevron is not there as the screens margins run out before it gets to the chevron. If you see what I mean. It causes posts lower down to look like this:

Has the layout changed again just today? I no longer get the usual forum lists but instead each forum is now a box with inline text links for all the other catergories within it??

Please tell me this isn't permanent fixture?

It is the same in Firefox and Safari

I reside in Dawlish Warren but am not a rabbit.
